At under5s we are committed to protecting your privacy. Under5's Limited is registered with the Data Protection Registrar and we comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. 

We are always happy to disclose copies of any information we hold about you on request in an electronic format and make no charge for this service.

Registration

When you register with us the information you supply is retained by us.

Third Parties 

Some of the services provided through the under5s site are supplied by third parties who are based within the EEA and are therefore governed by European data protection legislation. 

Third Parties outside the EEA

The Data Protection Act prohibits the transfer of data outside of the EEA. 

However some of the services provided through the under5s site are supplied by third parties who are based outside of the EEA and accessed directly by users who submit personal data directly to the third party.

These third parties are not therefore covered by the requirements of the Data Protection Act. However we have checked the privacy policies of each supplier to ensure that any information collected is, to the best of our knowledge, held in confidence. However we cannot be held responsible for any misuse of such information over and above removing access to that service from the under5s site. 

Advertising and affiliate sites

The advertising and affiliate sites displayed on the under5s site work on a 'click thru' basis, i.e. You must click on a banner to to trigger a link to the advertisers/affiliates site. Under5s can take no responsibility for the information collated by advertisers/affiliates when you link from the under5s site, please check each individual advertiser/affiliate's own privacy policy.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to collect and store information about you to enhance your user experience e.g. to remember passwords etc. The cookies identify the computer being used rather than the individual user. Do we disclose your information to other outside parties?

We do not disclose your details to any outside parties except in the manner described above. It is possible that we may want to in the future e.g. if the business was sold. However, we will always ask you before doing so and give you the opportunity to tell us not to.

We will take reasonable effort to ensure that the information that you supply to us is held safely and securely by ourselves and our service providers. However we cannot be held liable for any breach of confidentiality that may arise.

By using the under5s website you consent to our collecting information about you, as detailed above. If we change our privacy policy we will amend this page, and post a notice to that effect on our home page for a period of 30 days.
